The Wooden Canoe Heritage Association, Ltd. supports the formation of local chapters where members can meet and share their love of canoes with other members. Local chapters operate within guidelines set by the WCHA, however they are run as separate clubs and as such the WCHA and its Board of Directors cannot be held liable for any activities or actions that a chapter undertakes.
Chapters serve as unofficial ambassadors to the WCHA and may be seen at area canoeing or outdoor events near you. Most chapters publish their own periodic newsletter, with updates on local activities and regional news. Any chapter dues are separate and in addition to WCHA membership dues.
